Q&A: Why Do Men Like Big Breasts?
Whether you’ll admit it or not – you’ve probably wondered this very question at some point in your life. We certainly have. So in the interest of satiating curiosity (both ours and yours), we asked a man this very question: why do men like big breasts?
Here’s his take:
I’ve dated a bevy of women with a variety of breast sizes. From 36DD to 32A, I’ve tasted a full range of products on the market. While I certainly noticed the differences in bust size, I can’t say, love it or hate it, I ever consciously chose to be with a girl because she had large breasts.
One past girlfriend, who was endowed with modest cleavage and was considering an enhancement, once asked me if it mattered to me, and my response probably was ambiguous at best. So, it got me thinking recently if and why men do have a preference for big breasts. From evolutionary reasons to how hungry a guy is, I found, there are a variety of factors at play that make us boys love the big boobs. But, don’t worry ladies. If you have less ample cleavage, you’re not out of the game.
Evolution
Research studies have surmised that male adoration for breasts is steeped deep in our evolutionary DNA. Try explaining that to your girlfriend next time she catches you leering at a hottie’s rack, though. Nevertheless, these expert investigators speculate that boobs have evolved to resemble a woman’s rear end. Why? Well, our human ancestors were only able to procreate from behind until full bipedalism permitted more face-to-face action. So, big boobs tap into a male’s primal instinct for mating. In other words, it’s in our biological heritage – so why fight it, right?
Money
This is an interesting take. Psychological experts have discovered that more financially impoverished men prefer big boobs. In contrast, more financially well-off guys can make do with smaller cleavage. Ironically, girls with generous cleavage may be signaling guys looking for a payday. Who’d a thunk it? The science behind the study suggests that males surveyed found that bust size reflects fat storage, which subliminally communicates better access to financial resources.
Hunger
They say the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, and it’s been found that starving guys like big boobs. Along the lines of money, the same type of subliminal communication is occurring. A woman with big breasts triggers an attraction reaction to a man who is hungry, while a more satiated man is more attracted to a girl with a smaller bust.
Babies
Guys who are keen on becoming fathers and having a family find large breasts attractive for simple biological reasons, as it is seen as sign that the woman is more likely to be able to produce his offspring. This coupled with a more minute waste and hip ratio trigger a reproductive response in male anatomy.
Longevity
A study performed in Germany has found that men can actually extend their lives by five years by simply staring at breasts for only 10 minutes per day. I knew there was a reason I liked looking at topless girls on the Internet. This removed any guilt for me associated with checking-out a girl’s rack – you can’t blame me for wanting to live longer, right? The study found that for men staring at women’s breasts for just 10 minutes a day simulates 30 minutes of actual aerobic exercise. Though there are critics of the study, I prefer to just go with it and enjoy the view. You can always tell your girlfriend or wife that you are saving money on a gym membership by checking-out the talent.
They’re Hot
This is my personal favorite. It may seem chauvinistic, shallow, degrading, anti-feminist, misogynistic and any other politically incorrect adjective you want to throw at it, but big breasts are just hot. Whether it’s social conditioning, the media, horniness, Playboy or porno, I really don’t care. They look good in lingerie or bare on a topless beach in Spain. There are plenty of reasons probably why I look, but only one really matters.
